Rob likes to do quite a bit of photo experimenting at home to see if some ideas come about. But it's not quite the same as doing so in a studio with someone else in front of the camera. Tacocat, Luis, and Rob went to the studio try out some ideas... and shoot a new version of Chibi Moon!
When you don't want to do what everyone else is doing you're going to need to work hard to get somewhere. But you could potentially end up gaining so much more than you initially realized. Rob shares out what the team has been able to do since they are not involved with convention cosplay photography... and how much that has opened up for everyone to be artists, gain knowledge, and just plain have fun.
We usually do a lot of planning before we go out to take photos. This was not one of those times. :)
We went out to shoot Frozen Fever Anna and Elsa… plus we got to try out some new gear!
So what happens when we get a bunch of random costumes and wigs from Miccostumes? And only one person in the group knows what they are? We go book some studio time to photograph and video how everything came out!
Our first project of 2019 and we tackled a number of new things. First: some brand new costumes of Bowsette and Boosette based off of Hannah Alexander’s work, and Chompette from ANN4RT. Second: we tried some light painting with the PixelStick!
